AsilahSpanish provides a Spanish immersion summer camp in sunny Málaga, a stunning Mediterranean city in southern Spain. This medium-sized, safe city boasts a rich culture, history, and beautiful beaches, with friendly locals and a laid-back atmosphere. Ideal for teenage students, the camp offers stays of 1, 2, or 3 weeks in a modern residence with a pool and excellent amenities.
Moreover, our program offers a variety of cultural activities and excursions. Students explore Málaga’s landmarks like the Alcazaba fortress and Picasso Museum, and immerse in local life through visits to markets and tapas bars. Requirements:
Only students staying with a parent or guardian may enroll in the day camp. Transportation to and from camp is not included.
Spanish Course:
Our Spanish course is tailored for students, aiming to immerse them in dynamic learning. We prioritize engagement and student focus, maintaining a fun and playful atmosphere in classes. Taught by native speakers with extensive experience, our program fosters the development of speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
- 20 lessons per week taught entirely in Spanish
- All class material is included
- Maximum 12 students per class
- Classes are held on the residence premises.
Accomodation:
We offer student accommodation in a residence featuring 242 rooms, with gender separation ensured. Staff are available 24/7 for student comfort and supervision. Meals are provided in the residence’s canteen, and room cleaning takes place weekly.
- Residence amenities include:
- Double rooms with ensuite bathrooms and a small kitchenette
- Buffet breakfast and a two-course set menu for lunch and dinner.
- Access to communal spaces such as swimming pool, social room, games room, cinema room and terrace.
Other information:
All students are covered by travel insurance provided in their program. They will be supervised by experienced staff and activity leaders, all of whom have passed background checks. The staff-to-student ratio is 1 to 15, with attendance at classes and activities mandatory. There is a 24/7 emergency phone available, and students are not allowed out at night unsupervised, with a curfew of 11 pm. The residence will have 24/7 supervision staff, with program staff residing there for its duration. Alcohol, tobacco, and drug use are strictly prohibited, with immediate expulsion from the course for offenders without refund. Any additional expenses, such as transfers or new flights, are the responsibility of the customer.
Transportation and Airport Transfers:
- Airport Transfers – we will provide a flight arrival window for students to use our group transfer service. Students arriving by themselves at other times will have to cover the cost of an individual transfer (60€ per way). All flight details are required 15 days before arrival at the latest.
- City Travel – Students will travel by private or public transportation and this is covered by the program fee.
